Yogi Adityanath is set to flag off 250 electric and CNG vehicles for the Lucknow Municipal Corporation as part of the state government’s push towards cleaner and sustainable urban development.
The initiative aims to strengthen waste management systems and improve city cleanliness while reducing carbon emissions. The vehicles will be used for municipal services, including waste collection and sanitation, contributing to a greener urban environment.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s progress towards achieving the vision of “Zero Waste to Zero Carbon Emissions.” He credited Narendra Modi for guiding the state towards smart and environmentally responsible urbanisation.
Additionally, Yogi Adityanath warned against LPG hoarding amid global tensions, urging citizens not to spread panic or rumours regarding fuel availability.
